    Indianapolis City Councilor Angela Mansfield recently introduced an amendment to Chapter 451, Weapons, of the Revised Code of the Consolidated City and County. This amendment may affect Franklin Township residents who hunt, or otherwise discharge firearms on their property.

    The press announcement is on the city's web site. You can read the full text of the proposal as a PDF as well.

    ANGELA MANSFIELD NEEDS TO LOOK AT CURRENT LAW! EVERYTHING SHE PREPOSES IS ALREADY COVERED EXCEPT HUNTING IN MARION COUNTY. WHY WASTE TIME AND MONEY ON THIS WHEN IT IS ALREADY COVERED BY STATE AND FEDERAL LAW. GIVE ME A BREAK.
